The Grand Hotel Tremezzo reopens its doors for the 2024 season with alluring experiences and impressive renovations .

Grand Hotel Tremezzo – the epitome of elegance with traditional Italian values ​​of family and hospitality at its heart – has reopened its doors to guests for the 115th season, with stylish renovations at Vila Sola Cabiati. Additionally, guests can indulge in la dolce vita with the opening of a new wine cellar, additional restaurant offerings and lavish new spa treatments.

Stay in the newly renovated Grand Rooftop Suite, Junior Suite and Park View Rooms

The renovated Grand Rooftop Suite features a picturesque terrace or balcony, bright indoor and outdoor spaces, and plenty of space to accommodate up to four people, ensuring the utmost comfort and the ideal setup for long-term trips or multi-generational stays.

The four renovated Junior Suites offer a spacious layout with twin balconies for a relaxing retreat. They have been opulently decorated in serene pastel tones that harmonize with the elegant surrounding gardens.

Park View Rooms have also been refreshed with grand new furnishings and painted with carefully selected color palettes to blend with traditional Italian themes, from the elegant bow window to the marbled bathrooms and large mirrored wardrobes.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo has extended its love for viticulture by unveiling a new wine cellar located beneath the hotel’s T Fitness building . Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s charismatic sommelier guides avid oenophiles through different tasting experiences of the best Italian wines paired with cheeses.

New wine offerings include “A Journey Through 3 Different Styles of Nebbiolo” with a mountain Nebbiolo and its two Langhe cousins, or “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” – whose name was inspired by the film by Sergio Leone – with the film “Il buono, il brutto e il cattivo”.

New dishes at La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi

The La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi restaurant, located on one of the most picturesque terraces of Lake Como, constitutes one of the most interesting menu expansions in the culinary portfolio of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo this year.

The only restaurant in the world to offer Marchesi’s most famous dishes, this season guests will be able to taste Marchesi’s masterpieces, including his Dripping di pesce, a tribute to Jackson Pollock; the emblematic Riso, oro e zafferano; Raviolo aperto, a delight of scallops, ginger and butter; and Il rosso e il nero, a tribute to Lucio Fontana, with a gazpacho sauce of monkfish glazed with black squid ink.

A new chapter for Sense of Lake – a mine of Italian treasures .

Valentina and Antonella, the two feminine souls behind the Lake Como hotels Grand Hotel Tremezzo and Passalacqua, have just unveiled a new chapter of one of the projects that is most close to their hearts, the online style boutique of life  @Sense of Lake . The exclusive collection is comprised of special edition luxury accessories, clothing, linens, fragrances, soft-as-cloud linens and colorful Murano glass, lovingly dedicated to the iconic Lake Como hotels , the Grand Hotel Tremezzo and Passalacqua.

Sense of Lake  enriches its offer of limited edition partnerships with a limited number of specialized artisans, including Chez Dede, Back Label, Bric’s, FRS, For Restless Sleepers, LGR, Le Niné, Mantero, Bottega Conticelli, Papusse and Superga, as well as as new articles from Borsalino and Faliero Sarti.

Sense of Lake has just launched a brand new capsule collection with designer Emilia Wickstead. Taking inspiration from the elegant environment and green landscape of Lake Como, the collection consists of swimsuits and kaftans in two unique prints: the first, a vintage rose print, which references the enchanting rose gardens of Passalacqua, splashed with an irreverent fish motif and available in mustard, cobalt blue and dusty pink. The second, a thin orange stripe, pays homage to the bright colors of the emblematic Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

New spa and wellness offering with facial treatments and Italian hammam at T Spa

This season, the spa therapists have mastered their traditional techniques by introducing new facial treatments, including an Italian hammam ritual and a Moroccan dream hammam, to their impressive spa menu.

Guests can benefit from the most effective face and body treatments, including firming, lifting and detoxifying facials, courtesy of the quintessential Italian wellness brand, Santa Maria Novella.

The Italian Hammam is a modern version of an ancestral therapy. Entirely covered in white Lasa marble and equipped with a heating base, the Hammam promotes deep release and relaxation.

Additionally, the new hammam ritual “Morrocan dream hammam”, inspired by the rich Moroccan tradition of well-being, takes guests on a journey of deep purification and relaxation. It begins in the underground hammam with a ritual cleansing with black soap, followed by an exfoliation with a Kassa glove and a nourishing mask with Ghassoul clay. The culmination of the experience – a 50-minute full massage – is designed to soothe and invigorate.

Renovation of Villa Sola Cabiati – now open all year round

This astonishing baroque villa (managed by the Grand Hotel Tremezzo) and former summer residence of the Dukes of Serbelloni will now be enveloped in romantic prints which will bring joyful elegance to the property’s magnificent park. Guests can expect to see the poolside solarium and garden furniture – from stylish furniture and decorative umbrellas to tableware and housewares – decorated with the signature prints and romantic colors, which aim to bringing inspiration and beauty to every guest experience, echoing the feeling of the villa’s exceptional interiors.

In addition to the decor, Villa Sola Cabiati features freshly renovated bathrooms and a redesigned garden that complement the new design elements. From this season, Villa Sola Cabiati is open all year round.
